Black Vulture Facts:  
The Black Vulture prefers to inhabit open areas such as fields, meadows, fishing docks, areas of mixed farmland and forest, and along roadsides.  They roost in large trees or on large urban buildings. The Black Vultures of the Springfield Woods have nested on the rooftop of an abandoned house on the edge of the forest.
